About XMidi for Mac OS + Windows

XMidi is an XTRA for Macromedia Director that allows you to send and receive MIDI Information on Macintosh and Windows computers. By combining XMidi, Director and some simple Lingo programming, you you can create a powerful interactive media tool that can be controlled from the outside world.

• Sends and receives all MIDI channel messages (Note On, Note Off, Continous Control, Program Change, Pitch Bend, and Monophonic / Polyphonic Pressure)
• Sends and receives System Exclusive messages
• Can optionally buffer incoming Continuous Controller messages to provide the fastest possible response.

Try XMidi

You can try the XMidi by downloading the demostration version. The demo version is limited in that it will run for only 30 minutes each time XMidi is initailized from within Director, and it cannot be embedded within a Director application. Once you are satisified that XMidi is the tool for you, you can purchase the fully enabled version.

A single-user license for the XMidi Macintosh or XMidi Windows can be purchased for US$ 30, with site licenses available for US$ 300.
