XMidi for MacOS + Windows

XMidi is an XTRA for Macromedia Director that allows you to send and receive MIDI Information on Macintosh (both OS9 and OS X) and Windows computers.By combining XMidi, Director and some simple Lingo programming, you you can create a powerful interactive media tool that can be controlled from the outside world.

XMidi Supports the following features:

• Sends and receives all MIDI channel messages (Note On, Note Off, Continous Control, Program Change, Pitch Bend, and Monophonic / Polyphonic Pressure)
• Sends and receives System Exclusive messages
• Can optionally buffer incoming Continuous Controller messages to provide the fastest possible response.
• Please note that there are two versions for Macintosh: XMidi Classic for MacOS 9/Director 8.5 and XMidi MX for MacOS X/Director MX.
• The full version of XMidi MX, XMidi MX Window, or XMidi Classic costs $30. If you purchase two versions at the same time, the cost is US$40. XMidi can be purchased with a credit card via Kagi.com via the TroikaTronix online order page.
